Loving Endlessly

So many people waste time and energy loving people incapable of loving them back. The relationship is dead, yet they hang on until that frayed rope finally snaps. They make themselves sick with worry.

Instead of focusing on whats wrong with that part of our lives, we need to focus on what is right everywhere else. There are plenty of people who already love you. There are also plenty of people you have yet to meet, ready to to love you too.

Uneducated Enthusiasm

“Deception has many forms. Just because it appears to be right,  doesn’t mean that it is not wrong.

We are all guilty at some point of becoming overly excited about something or someone when we have not obtained all of the facts. From jobs to relationships or anything new, we get excited.

When we encounter new people or situations in our life, it may appear to be total perfection. Perhaps it all seems to fit so well. It may seem to be exactly what we have waited for or what we need at the time.

When we get excited like that it is time to search for the facts, and just slow down the pace. If we do not, we are merely suffering from uneducated enthusiasm.

We can not rush into decisions because when we do, we are often headed for a disaster. It is far more important to make decisions slowly and with wisdom, than to do it in a rush and have the relationship or situation end in total disgust.

Joy

There is one thing a person must acquire in order to live a balanced and happy life. That one thing, is joy.

Do you have joy in your life or is it the missing link?

It does not matter much where you live, where you work, what you drive, or where you dine. It does not matter who your friends are, or what their social status is. If joy is not present, misery often is instead.

True joy can be experienced in trailer parks and in mansions. It is found on beaches and in mountains. It is seen in extremely cold climates, and can still be found in the desert heat. Everyone experiences it differently, but it is up to us to find it for ourselves.

People find joy in many ways. But once they truly find it….. it stays.

The First Step

Traveling The Roads We Were Warned Of

quote about roads we travel and being warned

Sometimes we are warned but refuse to accept it. We hear it and see it but do not want to believe it. We get caught up in false hope and set ourselves up for a fall.

There is a reason people cross our paths and warn us. We shouldn’t take these warnings lightly. They come to help us and with good cause. Their knowledge although often overlooked could be the very knowledge that saves our life. Question is, what do you do with the information?

If you decide to proceed after having been warned; proceed with caution. The others who traveled before you, left that particular road for a reason. They do not warn you because they want to travel back down that road themselves. They warn you to prevent that pain being inflicted on anyone else.

What may appear to be a whisper or an annoyance from others who come to warn us while we are standing, becomes screaming and shouting as we travel further down that road and we wreck or fall down.

If you have traveled despite being warned, you may reach a point where you wish you would have listened. Or perhaps you may wish you would have asked a few more questions.  If that is the case,  try not to beat yourself up. Just be glad that you changed roads and there was an exit ramp right when you needed it.

How To Market And Sell Your Item Online

So many businesses leave money on the table every single month by not taking advantage of the internet. Often customers visit a boring website, with very little information on the product they want to purchase. The number one rule to selling a product, is becoming the product. You must know everything about it. With the internet, there is an art to marketing your item.

The customer can not smell, or touch the product. Therefor it is crucial that you provide them with a very informative description. Take clothing as an example. With clothing the customer should feel as though they are already wearing that sweater before they even order it. By doing this, they will likely revisit and make a purchase if for some reason they couldn’t buy it on the initial visit. They need to be able to visualize wearing it, and by providing a nice description of the item they will do exactly that. Offer free exchanges and a return policy. It is important not to charge customers a penalty for these returns. They are buying from a desk, and taking a risk. Many are already leary, so it is important to make it a good experience for them.

It is also important to tell them why they need the item you are selling. Where can it be used and how? How big is this item? Exact measurements are best. What will owning this item do for them? Will it improve their life in any way? Will it simplify things? Are their multiple ways to use this item? People really need visuals, and pictures do not always work. Unless of course, you provide several pictures of the item. Items with more pictures vs. one stock photo, will always sell better.

Again, in any sales job it is about believing in what you sell. I once sold an empty box on ebay for $250.00 in a mystery auction. Granted, I put things in the box before I shipped it, but the customer had no idea what was actually in the box. However, people kept bidding. Why? Because the way I described the box, and possible things I would be placing in it. It got them excited, and they wanted it.

So get them excited, and pump them up. Provide quality service once they have purchased and you will likely gain repeat business, as well as word of mouth advertisement. Good Luck!
